How to play the Insquare game

Insquare - is a multiplayer game that requires strategic thinking. The main objective is to score as many points as possible by capturing cells on the game board.

This beginner's guide contains all the basic information you will need.

Game board

The game board is a set of cells with numbers of different value, usually with a maximum value of 9.

As soon as the player captures the field, the cell becomes his game color. The sum of all cells occupied by a player is their game score.

If a player is able to surround a part of the field, then all the cells become his, even if these cells belonged to another player.

Players

Players make their move one after the other, with the first player starting being the one who joined the game first. In one move, a player can only occupy one cell, with the exception of using the tool. Each player is given a maximum of 60 seconds per move. The winner is the one who scores the highest number of points. The game is considered over when there are no more available cells on the game board.

Tools

Each player has a set of tools that he can use, usually one tool can be used once per game.
